WHAT IS THE SCAN~LINK 3.0 ARMOUR SYSTEM?
The SCAN~LINK 3.0 Armour System expands the capabilities of passive RFID worker detection technology, giving safety leaders more flexibility and coverage options to protect workers around heavy equipment.
The 3.0 Armour system introduces three new antenna options and a redesigned Display Unit to meet a wider range of jobsite safety requirements. From compact detection zones to extended detection range to full coverage protection, the 3.0 sytem allows organizations to deploy passive RFID worker detection systems that match their equipment, operations, and safety goals.

3.0 ARMOUR SYSTEM COMPONENTS
3.0 ANTENNA MODELS
The 3.0 Armour System includes three antenna models built to provide maximum deployment flexibility. From compact installations to extended detection zones and fully customizable coverage, each antenna is engineered for durability and reliable performance in challenging conditions such as dust, fog, rain, and harsh industrial environments.
3.0 DISPLAY UNIT
The 3.0 Armour System’s Display Unit delivers audible and visual alerts with a fully redesigned interface. Its intuitive circular LED layout supports full coverage directional detection, lighting up to show in which zone a tagged worker is detected.
Operator Mute Function
The Operator Mute Button prevents the equipment operator's own RFID-tagged PPE from triggering alerts.
- Stops nuisance self-detection alerts inside the cab
- Preserves full detection of all surrounding personnel
- Automatically resets when the system powers off and on
- Mutes only one worker's apparel at a time
3.0 CONTROL BOX
The Control Box is the central hub for multi-antenna 3.0 configurations. It's designed to simplify complex deployments and maintain seamless system performance:
- Wireless connection to the In-Cab Display Unit
- Continuous self-diagnostic monitoring
- Operating temperature: tested and QC's to -40ºC to +85ºC
- Optional data & analytics with an integrated Telematics Interface Unit (TIU)
