SCAN~LINK Armour System Components
Antenna Unit
Mounted on the exterior of the equipment, the antenna creates a customizable detection zone and continuously scans for passive RFID tags. It wirelessly transmits detection data to the in-cab display.
In-Cab Display Unit
When a tagged worker enters the zone, the operator receives immediate visual and audible alerts. Self-diagnostic checks confirm the system is connected and working, so operators are never running unprotected without knowing.
External Alarm
Mounted on the outside of the machine, the external alarm warns ground workers the moment they enter a danger zone. This two-way alerting keeps both the equipment operator and the ground worker aware.
RFID-Tagged PPE
Workers wear high-visibility vests and hard hats with embedded passive RFID tags. Each tag carries a unique identifier and needs no batteries, charging, or maintenance.

Everything communicates wirelessly for fast, hassle-free installation on all equipment types. No extra bulk, no charging, and no maintenance.
Our streamlined approach incorporates passive RFID tags directly into PPE that workers are already required to wear. This makes the Armour System effortless to adopt. No extra steps for workers and no additional gear to manage.
When a worker wearing tagged apparel enters the danger zone behind a machine, the operator is immediately alerted with both audio and visual prompts from the in-cab display unit. At the same time, an external alarm is activated to warn the groundworker, ensuring both parties are aware of the hazard.
Passive RFID Marker Tags can also be applied to fixed assets like generators, wellheads, or structures. Unlike other systems that detect objects indiscriminately or require daily checks, SCAN~LINK detects only what you choose.
